Where to go in winter from Delhi
For snow, Gulmarg in Kashmir usually has the best chances from late December to February. Closer to Delhi, Solang Valley and Sissu near Manali, and Jalori Pass near Shoja and Jibhi, often get snow too. Snow always depends on the weather, so we share the forecast before you book.
If you would rather skip the cold, Goa is at its best in winter, with dry, sunny days. Christmas and New Year are the busiest and most expensive week, so the first half of December and mid-January are better value.
Winter trips need a little more planning: heated rooms, warm clothing and one spare day in case snow closes a road. We build these into every winter package.
