How to choose between Manali and Kashmir
Choose Kashmir if you want the classic honeymoon and do not mind spending more on flights. A night on a Dal Lake houseboat, a sunset shikara ride and the snow views from the Gulmarg Gondola are hard to beat, and the short flight means you do not lose a day travelling right after the wedding.
Choose Manali if you prefer a road trip, want to keep the budget lighter, or love cosy cafes and riverside stays. Many couples add two quiet nights in Jibhi or the Tirthan Valley, which makes the trip feel more private and far less crowded.
If the wedding is in November or December, both give you cold weather and a chance of snow. Kashmir usually has the better snow odds in Gulmarg, while Manali is easier to reach on short notice. Tell us your wedding date and we will suggest the better fit for that week.
