Planning a Himachal trip from Delhi
Most Himachal trips from Delhi start with an overnight AC Volvo that leaves in the evening and reaches the hills the next morning. A private cab from your door is the more flexible choice, especially for families and couples.
Manali is the classic choice, with Solang Valley, Old Manali and the Atal Tunnel to Sissu. Jibhi, Tirthan Valley and Shoja are quieter, with wooden homestays, river walks and the drive up to Jalori Pass. Kasol in the Parvati Valley is popular with friend groups.
Many of our travellers combine two places, for example Manali with Jibhi on the way back, or Kasol with Tirthan. Tell us how many days you have and we will suggest the best route.

A Volvo saves a day and costs less. A private cab is more comfortable and flexible, especially with family or for honeymoons.
Plan 4 to 6 days for one place and 6 to 8 days to combine two, such as Manali and Jibhi.
Solang Valley and Sissu near Manali, and Jalori Pass near Jibhi. Snow depends on the weather and is never guaranteed.
